Nothing has come easy all year for the Florida Gators women's basketball team. Sure enough, the ladies were tested once more in the first round of the Women's NIT in the O'Connell Center. Trailing by one at halftime against University of Maryland, Baltimore County, the Gators regrouped and outscored their opponent by 28-15 in the second half, winning 59-47. The win extends Florida's home win streak against non-conference opponents to 11 games. Amanda Butler and company travel to Florida Gulf Coast University on Monday in second round action.
