Published March 18th, 2011
It was four years coming, and hopefully worth the wait. After the Florida Gators basketball team made it to the big dance for the second consecutive year, the Orange and Blue finally broke through and earned a convincing victory over UC Santa Barbara 79-51 down in Tampa. Versatile senior forward Chandler Parsons filled up the stat sheet without playing the final 12 minutes, three rebounds shy of a triple double with 10 points and 10 assists. Guard Erving Walker led all Gators with 18 points. Two-seeded Florida will face Seven-seeded UCLA on Saturday in Tampa.
