Taylor Asbell has done something not many people in high school sports can brag about; Taylor has been a part of a varsity team since she was in the sixth grade. And now, in her seventh year at PK Yonge, Taylor has led the young Blue Wave team to an undefeated record, as well as the top softball ranking in the state. She has a top ranking in the classroom too, with a 3.8 unweighted GPA. Although she excels at her shortstop position and coaches believe she has the talent to play in college, Taylor will hang up the cleats after the season to focus on her schooling, where she plans to become a nurse.
