Published March 29th, 2011
Chandler Parsons earned one more honor in a season filled with them on Monday, as the Associated Press named the Gators senior forward an All-America Honorable Mention. Parsons, who won the SEC's award for Most Outstanding Player, scored only five points in Florida's loss to Butler in the NCAA Elite Eight, but said he wanted the ball at the end of the overtime loss.
"Of course I wanted the ball in my hands, but we had a good shot, it just didn't fall," Parsons said after the game.
