Demps, Wilks Run Wild at Tom Jones Memorial Classic

10 Gator Track and Field athletes won individual events at the Tom Jones Memorial Classic on Saturday. Headlining the group, junior Sprinter Jeff Demps claimed the 100-meter dash with a 9.97 (+2.4) the fastest wind-assisted time in the world this season, as well as anchoring the Gator "A" 4-by-100-meter relay team with a finish of 39.07. Senior Terrell Wilks ran a personal best in the 200-meter of 20.51, and was beside Demps in the 100-meter, finishing 10.19 (+2.4).
