Gator Baseball Routs Tennessee 11-2, Clinches Series Victory
Published April 2nd, 2011
Nolan Fontana kept up his superb play with a 3-for-4 effort, knocking in six runs, as No. 3 Florida kept its foot on the gas, beating Tennessee 11-2. The Gators blew the game open with a seven-run seventh inning, including a bases-clearing triple for Fontana. The six-RBI day matched a career-best, and head coach Kevin O'Sullivan hopes his bat stays hot as Florida looks for a Volunteers sweep Sunday afternoon.
