Bradley Beal added to his considerable haul of accolades Monday as the McDonalds and Parade All-American added the title of Gatorade National Player of the Year. The Chaminade High School (St. Louis, MO) standout and Florida signee averaged better than 32 points per game this year, while still averaging more than 5 assists, almost three rebounds and three steals per game. Former Miami Heat star Alonzo Mourning (Gatorade National Player of the year, 1987-'88) presented Beal with the award at Beal's high school, and played a game of horse with Beal as well.
