Newberry Baseball Wins 5-4, Softball Falls 6-3

In a Newberry High doubleheader, the Panthers could only muster a split. In baseball, the Panthers took on Fort White in a tight contest. The score was tied 4-4 in the bottom of the sixth, but the Panthers plated one more run, beating the Indians 5-4. On the softball diamond, senior night for Taylor Whitley and Kaylee Simmons was turned sour as the visiting Union County Panthers won 6-3.
