Blakely Plan to Transfer from Florida Football Team
Published May 10th, 2011
The Florida Gator Football team is now on it's way into summer conditioning and in a way you could call it a make-or break time for the team. But that will not be the same for Florida running back, Mike Blakely.
Will Muschamp announced today, the freshman from Bradenton, Florida, is moving on. Blakely, a U.S. Army All American, was considered one of the top ten recruits in the state this year by rivals.com. Now the former Manatee star will leave before ever playing a down for the Gators.
Muschamp said, " Mike has come to the conclusion that the University of Florida is not where he wants to play football and we wish him the best of luck."
