Chiefland Beats Bronson In Spring Football Game, Plus Other Area Scores

The Chiefland Indians shook off a slow first quarter and beat Bronson 21-0 in Bronson, ending both team's spring seasons. The Indians and Eagles are both looking to rebound in 2011 after the two combined for just one win in 2010.
In other games Thursday night, Williston held off Tavares 33-28, and Eastside played Leesburg to a 7-7 draw before the game was called with six minutes left in the fourth quarter.
