College Football Bowl Budgets Revealed

A survey of 80% of the Universities competing in college football bowl games following the 2010 season found that teams spent an average of $1.31M to cover the costs. The information was compiled by Jay Christensen, who is the author of The Wiz of Odds, a college football website. Christensen told WCJB that the University of Florida Athletic Association spent $1.084M to send the Gators to the Outback Bowl on January 1st.
