Despite losing two of their final three games of the regular season, the Florida Gator Lacrosse team built an impressive resume for the NCAA to be awarded a four-seed in the NCAA Tournament. This is Florida's first appearance in the national field of sixteen. The Gators will host No. 13 Stanford (16-2) at Dizney Stadium Saturday, May 14th at 1pm. The Lacrosse program joins the list of gator sports, along with softball ('98) and soccer ('96), to earn an NCAA berth in only its second year of existence. Florida is undefeated at home this season, and the Cardinal's only losses also came to ALC opponents Northwestern and Vanderbilt on the road, respectively.
