Gator Softball Beats Bethune-Cookman 8-0

It was more of the same from the Florida Gator softball team. For the second straight year, the Gators beat Bethune-Cookman, the latest victory coming by a score of 8-0 after five innings. Florida pitcher Stephanie Brombacher pitched a complete five-inning game, allowing three hits, fanning five, and zero earned runs. Freshmen Cheyenne Coyle went 2-for-2 with three RBI in the game. Florida meets UCLA on Saturday at 1 p.m. after the Bruins defeated Jacksonville 2-0 earlier in the afternoon.
