Gators and Commodores Suspended In Game One of Weekend Series

The excitement of a late-season SEC conference battle will carry over into another day, as game 1 of Florida and Vanderbilt's three-game series was suspended Friday night. The Commodores led 4-2 in the middle of the sixth inning, when dark clouds formed over Hawkins Field and heavy rains followed. Game 1 will resume Saturday at 2 p.m., with game 2 to follow 40 minutes after the conclusion of game 1.
