Gators Earn No. 2 National Seed in NCAA Baseball Tournament

The Florida Gator baseball team learned on Monday that Gainesville will play host to Miami (FL), Jacksonville, and Manhattan in NCAA Regional action. Florida was awarded the No. 2 overall seed, with the top seed in the tournament being Virginia. Only one top seeded team has ever won it all since the field was expanded to 64 teams, and that was the 1999 Miami Hurricanes. Florida meets Manhattan on Friday at 4 p.m.
