Gator Baseball, Confident, Prepared...Healthy?
Published June 17th, 2011
If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the video coming out of Omaha, NE should scream good news for the Florida Gator baseball team. Austin Maddox-the Gators third baseman who's been out with a sprained foot since June 3- took batting practice with the team today as they prepare for game 1 of the College World Series Saturday. The Gators have been missing Maddox and Pitcher/1st Baseman/DH Brian Johnson since before the Gainesville Super Regional, but now head coach Kevin O'Sullivan says both players will be available for the World Series. Game 1 against Texas begins at 7 p.m.
