Gator Golfer Tyler McCumber Captures Amatuer Title

University of Florida golfer Tyler McCumber isn't taking any time off during the summer. This weekend the Gator junior captured the biggest win of his career at the 94th Florida State Amateur Championship in Miami at Doral Golf Resort and Spa.
McCumber, a junior for the Gators from Ponte Verde Florida, topped the tourney with a score of 285 in five rounds. Not only was this a big win for Tyler, it was a meaningful one as well. McCumber's Father Mark won twice at Doral during his pro career.
