Gator Track Star Kicked Off Team

A Gator distance runner has been kicked off the University of Florida Track and Field Team after being arrested on a sexual battery charge. Police said that Andries Dumisane Hlaselo allegedly raped his roommate's friend on June 12th. According to the police statement, the victim
Hlaselo, the 22 year old junior from South Africa, placed fifth in the 1,500 meters at this years NCAA Championships and holds his country's junior national record in the same event.
