Gators Jump on Manhattan 17-3, Advance to Face Miami

The overall two-seed in the NCAA baseball tournament put away the Manhattan Jaspers with ease, jumping out to a 16-0 lead after three innings, and the Florida Gators closed it out winning 17-3. The Gators set a new school record in the NCAA Tournament with 23 base hits. Outfielder Preston Tucker went 3-for-6 with five RBI and two home runs. Florida faces Miami for the fourth time this season on Saturday in NCAA Regional action. The Gators swept the Hurricanes in a three-game set earlier this season at McKethan Stadium.
