GHS CB Chris Bivins Verbally Commits to USF
Published June 27th, 2011
Chris Bivins has put the college calls on hold, for now. The GHS incoming senior cornerback verbally committed to the University of South Florida. The 5'11" 169 lb player was recruited by several Division 1 schools, including Arkansas, Kentucky, and North Carolina State. But ultimately, Bivins chose to join Skip Holtz and the Bulls. The Purple Hurricane would still be open to the University of Florida if a scholarship opens up, but right now USF was the best fit for him.
