Michelle Moultrie Makes Gators Go
Published June 1st, 2011
When Michelle Moultrie arrived on the campus of UF as a freshman, Gator softball head coach Tim Walton said she couldn't even catch a cold. But her remarkable improvement in her collegiate softball career has everyone turning their heads to see the speedster from Jacksonville, FL. Moultrie improved offensively each year, going from a lackluster .261 to now a team-best .431, while fielding at a perfect 1.000% in center field. Moultrie is a key cog to the Gators run to the fourth-straight Women's College World Series, and hopefully the speed-to-burn will blast Florida to their first-ever softball national championship.
