Danny Wuerffel Gives Guillain Barre Status Update On Website
Published July 6th, 2011
Former Florida Gators quarterback Danny Wuerffel has posted an update to his website regarding his battle with Guillain Barre Syndrome. The 1996 Heisman Trophy Winner has battled the illness for more than a month, and says he is recovering slowly but surely, much in the same pace of a turtle he watched from his bedside. Danny writes about a moment of realization which came from that experience and includes more about his recovery in his letter on his Desire Street Ministries website.
