Muschamp New Kid on SEC Head Coaching Block
Published July 22nd, 2011
The SEC head coaching landscape didn't change much in the offseason. Only two teams in the conference found new head men to lead their respective football programs. Vanderbilt hired James Franklin, but the big hire that made shockwaves around the country was Will Muschamp taking the reins from Urban Meyer at Florida. This is Muschamp's first stint as a head football coach, but his experience as defensive coordinator in the SEC already has his peers' respect and attention.
