Peterson To Host Annual Family Fun Day In Alachua On July 23rd
Published July 14th, 2011
As he's done his entire career, Atlanta Falcons linebacker Mike Peterson is finding ways to give back to his community. The former Florida Gator and Santa Fe Raider will hold his annual Family Fun Day on Saturday July 23rd at Skinner Field in Alachua from 5-8 p.m.
The event is free to residents of Alachua, and will feature water slides, a bounce house, obstacle courses, bungee games, sporting activities, arts and crafts, a rock climbing wall and there will be a free bar-b-q.
Peterson is asking for people attending to bring in one non-perishable food item which will be donated to the Cleather Hathcock Community Center. People who donate will get a free ice cream in return, but of course, all the fun will be free as well.
