Three Local Football Players Sign Letters Of Intent

A few football players put pen to paper out in Northwest Gainesville Wednesday afternoon. Gainesville High School running back and wide receiver Anquan Gainey will play for Waldorf College in Forest City, Iowa. The 5-9, 180 lb. future Warrior will head up north in less than a month to join the team. Another Purple Hurricane, Corey Hodges will be leaving the state as well to play for Trinity International in Deerfield, Illinois. The 5-9, 185 lb. running back and safety will play with former rival out of Eastside High, Johnny Boswell. Boswell, the 6-1 190 lb. plans on playing linebacker and defensive end for the Trojans. All three tell TV 20 that it was an exciting day for them.
