2011 Countdown to Kickoff: Florida State

When Jimbo Fisher took over the Florida State football program in 2010, everyone immediately wanted a time frame of when the Seminoles would be "back" in national prominence. After his rookie coaching campaign earned a 10-4 finish, the best mark in wins seen since 2003, Jimbo heads into year two with higher expectations. The Seminoles are ranked fifth in the nation, returning the majority of their offensive and defensive starters. Quarterback EJ Manuel replaces NFL first round draftee Christian Ponder, and knows the FSU offense will only go as far as he can take it.
