Head Coach Becky Burleigh said Wednesday felt like a holiday, although it was only observed by her team. The Florida Womens' Soccer team was back on the practice field, marking the first day of practice for any sport as the new school year begins.
The first game of the 2011-12 season kicks off August 19th at Miami. Last season, the Gators won the SEC regular season and tournament championships but then lost in the second round of the NCAA Championships.
