Vanguard and Forest will meet when it matters on November 11th, so no wonder both teams played conservative in a 0-0 tie at Booster Stadium in Ocala. The Wildcats caused three Vanguard turnovers, but failed to put points on the board as the Knight defense rose to the occasion with a stingy showing. Both teams only played a half of varsity football, and now look forward to opening the regular season next week. Forest travels to Lake Weir, while Vanguard travels out of state to face Carrollton in Georgia.
