Hawthorne scheduled the big schools to prepare themselves for district play. The Hornets are finally reaping the rewards of the tough schedule. In a game postponed Friday night due to weather, the Hornets resumed play with the Interlachen Rams Monday and rallied for the 30-22 victory. The Rams held a 14-0 lead when play resumed, and held a 14-6 halftime advantage. But Hawthorne was led by K'Darian Allen, totaling over 200 total yards as a running back and wide receiver, lifting the Hornets to victory.
