Florida School for the Deaf was no match for Oak Hall, and the Eagles made sure they knew it by the end of the first quarter. Led by a flock of Eagle players, Oak Hall opened up the high school football season with a dominating 56-6 victory. Running back Leon Cummings only had four carries, but three of them resulted in touchdowns. Wideout Robert Moss accounted for two more end zone trips, and quarterback Jared Armstrong finished his three touchdown passing night with a rushing TD to go with it. The Eagles face Aucilla Christian next week in their first road game of the schedule.
