Published September 25th, 2011
In a Battle of the Bakers, Jamie Baker of Williston got the best of Chris Baker from Newberry, as the Red Devils scored early and often routing the Panthers 47-31. Williston scored on the first play in each of their offensive series, and Newberry had no way to shut down a leaky defense that allowed Brandon Preston to run for 144 yards in the first quarter. The Panthers fall to 1-3 while Williston is back at .500 with a 2-2 record.
