Brantley Out For LSU, Driskel Expected To Start
Published October 4th, 2011
The lower leg injury that forced John Brantley to miss the second half of last Saturday's game against Alabama, will also keep the Ocala native out of the Florida Gators second road contest of the season, at #1 LSU on Saturday afternoon.
Head coach Will Muschamp says Brantley has been playing well, and both Brantley and Muschamp are disappointed the senior won't be able to play, but Muschamp said the team must rally around true freshman Jeff Driskel, who filled in for Brantley in the second half of the 38-10 loss to the Crimson Tide.
