GHS Football Gets Third Straight Win Against Eastside 21-0

The fictional City Championship was on the line tonight, and the Purple Hurricanes once again can call it their own. Gainesville High held a 21-0 lead at halftime, then dedicated their offense in the second half to the running game, holding off Eastside with the same score 21-0. The Rams were held to 21 total yards on offense, while the Purple Hurricanes extended their Citizens Field winning streak to 17 games. The GHS defense also held another another opponent without a touchdown, extending that streak to 18 straight quarters.
