Sturgis Lone UF Representative on AP All-SEC Teams

Gators placekicker Caleb Sturgis is the lone representative on the Associated Press 2001 All SEC team, the league announced Monday. Sturgis made 21-of-25 field goals this year, including 3-5 from more than 50 yards. The only other Gator receiving votes is defensive lineman Jaye Howard, who is an honorable mention. The top prizes are as follows:
Offensive Player of the Year: Alabama Running Back Trent Richardson
Defensive Player of the Year: LSU Cornerback Tyrann Mathieu
Coach of the Year: LSU Coach Les Miles
Freshman of the Year: Georgia Running Back Isaiah Crowell
