Buchholz Baseball Rallies, Falls Short Against Haines City 3-2

Published February 25th, 2012

The Buchholz baseball team fell into an early 3-0 hole against Haines City and never recovered, losing to the Hornets 3-2. The Bobcats started the rally in the bottom of the third, scoring back-to-back runs with two outs. Dakota Turner's RBI-single to right field put Quinlan Washington across the plate. That was followed by Kevin Krupp's RBI-double to deep center to score Turner. But Buchholz stranded every runner thereafter and failed to get the equalizer.
