Nolan Fontana hit his first home run of the season, freshman Justin Shafer added a two-RBI single in the fourth inning, and Preston Tucker hit his team-leading fifth homer to complete the Gator scoring in a rain-filled 5-3 win over William & Mary. Sophomore pitcher Karsten Whitson only went 0.2 innings and gave up a run, but Steven Rodriguez and Jonathon Crawford held the Tribe at bay, only allowing two more runs in the entire game. The game was delayed in the top of the sixth with two outs for William & Mary, but because the rain kept coming the game was called with the Gators leading 5-3.
