Gator Basketball Pours It On Late In Win Over Auburn
Published February 22nd, 2012
The score was 30-27, with Auburn leading at halftime, and Florida Gator basketball head coach Billy Donovan had seen enough. "I told them there's a lot that goes into wearing this jersey," Donovan said after the game. "We may not make every shot, but there needs to be a level of enthusiasm that the people out there watching deserve to see."
Sufficiently inspired, the Gators used an 18-5 run at one point in the second half to put the Tigers away 63-47. Kenny Boynton led the way with 20 points for Florida.
