Junior day was a huge success for Will Muschamp and the Florida Gators, as six coveted recruits pledged their allegiance to the University of Florida. Headlined by Belle Glades running back Kelvin Taylor, son of former Gator Fred Taylor, the Gators now have two of the top running back prospects in the Class of 2013, joining verbal commit Adam Lane. Taylor, a 5-foot-11, 214-pound bruiser, was joined by wide receiver Rodney Adams, defensive backs Nick Washington and Keanu Neal, and linebackers Quinton Powell and Dillan Lawson. The Class of 2013 verbal commitments jumps to 10, with eight players falling under the ESPNU 150 watch list.
