Williston Outlasts Bradford County 84-81 in 2OT

Nobody said it would be easy, and fans in Red Devil Country had to sweat it out past regulation. But when the clocked reached zeros in the second overtime, Williston celebrated its fifth straight boys basketball district championship, beating Bradford County 84-81. The visiting Tornadoes were led by Justin McBride with 22 points, but Red Devil senior Detereon Ross led all scorers with 32. Williston will host Trinity Catholic in the FHSAA playoffs this Thursday in the Class 4A regional quarterfinals.
