Bernstein Celebrated at Gatornationals, Donates Memorabilia to Darrell Gwynn Foundation
Published March 11th, 2012
An NHRA legend was remembered as Kenny Bernstein made an appearance at the 43rd annual Gatornationals. The King of Speed arrived in his original '92 Budweiser Top Fuel Dragster, celebrating the 20 year anniversary of breaking the 300 mph barrier in a legendary run. Bernstein announced everything the family had collected as memorabilia over his prestigious racing career would be donated to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation, a group that supports people with paralysis. The items include racing collectibles such as original fire suits, helmets, championship Funny Car and Top Fuel bodies, and much more. Bernstein's hope is the items will end up with the fans after first donating to a worthy organization.
