Brown, Schumacher Eager to Prove the Army Strong 1-2 Combo
Published March 10th, 2012
Tony "The Sarge" Schumacher is a veteran of Gatornationals, winning four Top Fuel top prizes in the past eight years. But after his first-ever winless season in 2011, The Sarge is ready to get back to his familiar stomping grounds in Gainesville and go for the track's all-time win record in the category. This season, Schumacher is number two in the Top Fuel points standings, only behind Army teammate and Matco Tools driver Antron Brown. Brown has started the season strong with a runner-up finish at Pomona and a win in Phoenix, and both drivers are eager to prove themselves at the legendary track in North Central Florida.
