Gator Basketball Players Reflect on Season After Elite 8 Ouster
Published March 26th, 2012
It's still a tough pill to swallow, but the Florida Gator basketball team is slowly getting over another missed opportunity after Saturday's 72-68 loss to Louisville in the NCAA West Region Final. For the second consecutive year, the Gators held an 11 point lead in the final 10 minutes of regulation against an opponent in the Elite EIght, only to squander it away and eventually get knocked out of the NCAA Tournament. Florida players from freshman Bradley Beal to proven veteran Erving Walker weighed in on the season as it has finally come to a close.
