The Florida Gators showed toughness, but were eventually outworked by the top-ranked Kentucky Wildcats, falling 74-59 in the SEC regular season finale. Kentucky finished a perfect SEC season, their third since 1996, and the only team to achieve the feat since the late 1950s. The loss dropped Florida to the No. 4 seed in the SEC Tournament, where the Gators will play the winner of Alabama-South Carolina on Friday at 3:30pm in New Orleans.
