Gators OC Brent Pease: Mild Mannered Personality, High-Octane Coach
Published March 15th, 2012
When asked what makes new Florida Gators offensive coordinator Brent Pease "blow a gasket," the mild-mannered Pease smiled and said he doesn't. That patience will be put to the test this year, as Pease-most recently at Boise State-takes over a Gators offense which ranked 10th out of 12 teams in the SEC in 2011. Pease told reporters Tuesday he will tolerate some things on the practice field, but he will never tolerate lack of effort. He also said he isn't intimidated taking the job at Florda-whose reputation for high-powered offenses stretches more than two decades. "It's more respect than anything," Pease told WCJB.
