Newberry Softball Unites Generations for Fund-Raising Effort

When vandals burned down the Newberry High School Softball Team's concession stand, new head coach Michelle Spina-Honeycutt didn't get angry-she got capitalistic. Spina-Honeycutt, a former Panther player herself, formed the first-ever alumni softball game-held Saturday afternoon-to help raise money to build a new concession stand. The Panthers hope to raise $1,500 towards the building cost.
