The monkey is off Kevin O'Sullivan's back. The Gator head coach finally has his first victory over rival Florida State in a neutral site game after Tuesday's 4-1 victory in Jacksonville. Florida used a three-run sixth inning to erase a FSU 1-0 lead and turn it into a 3-1 Gator advantage. Florida tacked on one more in the eighth inning, and Jacksonville native Austin Maddox struck out two Seminole batters and allowed zero runs to close out the ninth and earn his eighth save of the season. Sullivan had entered the matchup 0-7 against FSU in neutral site games since being at the helm of the Florida Gator baseball program.
