No. 4 Gator Lacrosse Edged Out by No. 9 Syracuse in Double OT Thriller

The fourth-ranked Gator Lacrosse team saw itself down by as many as three goals with under three minutes to play against No. 9 Syracuse, but tied the game on two separate occasions to force extra sessions, only to fall to the Orange in a 12-11 double overtime heartbreaker. Brittany Dashiell had a team-high three goals, including one to send it to a second overtime. Kitty Cullen scored her lone goal with 53 seconds left in regulation to tie the game at 10-10, but the junior was held in check on her other nine shot attempts.
