Tim Tebow began Wednesday afternoon headed to the Big Apple, and after a big mix-up, a trade that sent him to the New York Jets finished up Wednesday evening. The former Florida Gator and Denver Broncos quarterback was traded along with a 7th round draft pick to the Jets in exchange for New York's 4th and 6th round picks in the 2012 draft. In addition, the Jets will pay an agreed-upon sum of Tebow's bonus money, which the Broncos gave to Tebow before the start of the 2011 season. The amount of that sum was in dispute-which resulted in stalled negotiations-but the deal is complete and Tebow will now play quarterback for the Jets. Although Tebow said he didn't have any say in where he would end up via trade, he did tell reporters last night that he's excited to play for the Jets. "I just hope I can make them a little bit better," Tebow said.
