"Dig the Swamp" Volleyball Tournament Benefits March of Dimes
Published April 1st, 2012
Mother nature tried to put a damper on Powerplay Volleyball's "Dig the Swamp" volleyball tournament, but people still showed up to have fun and benefit a good cause. The tournament, held at Forest Park, raised money for the March of Dimes, an organization that helps fight birth defects and infant mortality rates. Event organizer John Babbit has held plenty of volleyball tournaments in the Tampa area and was happy to bring one to north central Florida.
