Former GHS Player, LSU Not Enough as Gator Women's Tennis Cruise to Win
Published April 9th, 2012
The No. 2 Florida Gator women's tennis team clinched at least a share of the SEC crown with a 7-0 blanking of LSU. In the final home match of the regular season, the Gators sent out lone senior Joanna Mather with a victory. LSU player Keri Frankenberger made a home trip back to Gainesville, where she played prep tennis for Gainesville High School. But Frankenberger, like the rest of her teammates, struggled against the second-best team in the country, failing to win a set against the Orange and Blue.
